Reference legislation

The legislator, in implementation of the provisions contained in directive 2009/136/EC and subsequently the EU regulation 2016/679 and the Privacy Guarantor of 10/06/2021,
brought the obligation to obtain the prior and informed consent of users to the installation of cookies used for purposes other than purely technical ones (cf. art. 1, paragraph 5, letter a), of Legislative Decree no. lgs. 28 May 2012, no. 69, which modified the art. 122 of the Code).

The Provision of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data n. 229/2014 and subsequently the EU regulation 2016/679 and the provision of the Guarantor of 10/06/2021,
identify the simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies.
EU regulation 679/2016 and subsequent provisions replace and integrate the previous cookie law (229/2014).
